From Geneva, the Jura heights stretch along the entire western border of Switzerland towards Basel. Within the Jura there are various landscapes. The classic dichotomy speaks of the Folded Jura and Table Jura. The Ballenberg open-air museum shows four buildings from different landscapes of the Jura.
